What is Somatic Body Work
Somatic Body Work is a body-centered practice that uses touch, presence, and guided awareness to reconnect you with your natural rhythms and the innate intelligence of your body.
At the heart of this work is my Body Mapping Method — a technique I’ve developed by blending my studies and trainings in Western Physiology, Eastern Philosophies, and Somatic Practices. It helps reveal where patterns, emotions, or energy are being held and creates space for them to shift.
Each session invites you to trace the body as a living map, working with patterns, sensations, and the energetic body to release tension, unblock what feels stuck, and open space for greater aliveness.
Clients often walk away from their sessions completely blown out of the water, amazed at what we discovered during session, and deeply moved. Keep reading to peep a post one of my clients posted after her first session with me.
“Back in March was one of the most life changing days I have ever had.
here is some of the light I felt after.
after years of journeying from intentionally one therapist and modality to the next, collecting an arsenal of tools to support me in being in my body — I never could have imagined what was possible in this hour body work session I had with @clarity.vincenza.
I have done a lot of transformative journeys, and I do not say this lately — I say it with my whole chest. it was like months or years of therapy in one day — or a psychedelic journey, without any substance.
I particularly remember one moment where she was guiding me to connect to an emotion in my body but there was a wall of numbness that needed extra support to feel safe to drop. she guided me to look at where the sun was hitting in the room and feel it — and there it was, all of the tears started flowing, all of my energy began moving around. it felt like a miracle. I was like oh, there is my power. that’s it. being here. light reminds us that we are here. it is us, here.”

What to expect from a session
We begin each session with a drop-in discussing what’s present for you right now in your life and where you are wanting to take the day’s session.
I work with my clients on anything from stored trauma, healing abuse patterns, calling in greater sensational awareness and emotional regulation, to expanding their relationship pleasure, and tracking how erotic aliveness moves through their body.
On the table, I track patterns of tension and tightness, numbness, stored emotion, trapped energy, and work with them through intentional touch, breath, and moment-to-moment guidance. Sometimes this looks like grounding pressure, sometimes gentle containment, and other times inviting movement or expression to help what’s beneath the surface find space to release. Every session follows your body’s readiness — creating an experience that can feel deeply grounding, cathartic, and expansive all at once.
